What design choices set these two mattress wedges apart?

The Cinnvoice takes the long, shallow route. A 5-inch head end easing down to 1 inch across 31.5 inches is a gentle gradient, and the 1-inch edge means the ramp does not die away to nothing: there is a step where the wedge ends and the bed resumes. Under a mattress that step is absorbed by the mattress itself, which is presumably why the title places it there.

GIVANLEE compresses a slightly taller rise into a shorter run, so the same bed gets a steeper climb over less of its length. This is guidance drawn from the specs, not advice for any condition; if elevation is part of managing a health problem, agree the approach with your doctor.

Start with height, because the published guidance is specific. The NIDDK lists, among lifestyle changes for reflux, elevating your head during sleep with a foam wedge or extra pillows to raise your head 6 to 8 inches off the bed. Both of these products sit at or below the bottom of that band at their head end, so someone aiming for the upper end of it would be looking at the 7.5-inch GIVANLEE, a taller wedge pillow, or a combination. The American College of Gastroenterology’s 2022 guideline recommends head-of-the-bed elevation for night-time symptoms as a conditional recommendation on low-quality evidence, and a 2021 systematic review of five trials in 228 patients, using bed blocks, a wedge or both, found symptom improvement in the four trials that reported it. A queen mattress is 60 inches wide and a king 76 according to the Better Sleep Council, so the Cinnvoice figure of 74.8 inches is king-width whatever the listing title says, and the GIVANLEE range has a stated width for each bed size. What the listings do not tell you: 6 gaps

Where a spec is missing or stated two different ways, we record it rather than resolve it. These are the questions worth putting to the seller.

1. Which size the Cinnvoice ASIN actually is. The title says “7in Queen Size”, the product overview on the same page lists the size as “5 Inch King”, and the bullets give a 74.8 × 31.5 inch panel with a 5-inch rise. Three of the figures point at a 5-inch king; the title does not.
2. What the Cinnvoice is filled with. The bullets say high-density foam; the product overview table lists the fill material as “soft fabric”. One of the two is wrong and the listing does not say which.
3. Foam density and firmness. Neither maker gives a density figure or an indentation rating. “High density foam” and “high density sponge” are descriptions, not measurements, and a mattress-sized panel that softens changes the angle you sleep at.
4. Where the GIVANLEE ramp ends. Its size is given as 76 × 26 × 6 inches, but the listing never states the height at the foot of the slope, so the 13-degree figure above assumes it tapers to zero. The Cinnvoice is explicit that its low edge is 1 inch.
5. Cover removal on the Cinnvoice. The listing names a polyester breathable cover but does not say whether it comes off or can be washed, while GIVANLEE states both. For a part that sits under a mattress this matters less; on top of one it matters a lot.
6. Weight, warranty and certification. Neither states a weight, which is worth knowing for a panel this size, and neither names a maker warranty. Neither mentions a foam certification either: CertiPUR-US certifies foams made without formaldehyde, heavy metals or ozone depleters and with low VOC emissions, and its certified-foam directory is where a brand can be checked.
