Over the same 31 inch run, 7.5 inches works out to about 14 degrees and 5.5 inches to about 10. Vekkia’s own Standard size, 24 inches long and 5.5 inches high, comes to about 13 degrees, so the Extra-Long version keeps a similar slope and adds length and lift. Bueoure took the other route: it kept a 5.5 inch rise and spread it over 31 inches, and its listing describes the result as a “mild incline” meant to keep the sleeper from sliding down.
Covers differ in texture and handling. Vekkia names a plush Dutch velvet cover and adds two side pockets for a phone or remote and a handle on top for moving the wedge. - Incline angle. Neither maker gives one. Bueoure headlines “Perfect Incline Angle” but quotes only the 5.5 inch height, and one Bueoure gallery image labels the sloped surface as 32 inches while the dimensions say 31; the slope of a 31 by 5.5 inch wedge works out to about 31.5 inches, so this is most likely the diagonal rather than a second size.
- Firmness in numbers. Neither lists a foam density or an indentation rating. Bueoure’s own listing pairs “Medium Soft” with “firm support”, and Vekkia’s describes its foam as both firm and soft.
- Foam certification. Neither mentions a certification. CertiPUR-US, a program administered by a nonprofit, certifies foams made without formaldehyde, ozone depleters and heavy metals, with low VOC emissions; its certified-foam directory is the place to check a brand.
- Warranty. Both pages show only Amazon’s generic warranty link; neither states a maker warranty or its length.

- “FSA Eligible”. The phrase is in Bueoure’s title only, and the listing does not say what it rests on. Under IRS Publication 502, medical expenses must be primarily to alleviate or prevent an illness, not merely beneficial to general health, so confirm with your FSA administrator before relying on it.
